Structure before decoration
A document is read in an order. Deciding that order with you, and cutting what does not belong in it, is where the value of this work sits. The design then holds it together rather than making up for it.
About
Shine Pages Limited takes the material a business already has - what it does, who does it, how the work runs - and turns it into a designed document that can be sent, read on a screen and navigated.
How we work
They are not a manifesto. They are the four decisions that decide whether a document arrives on the agreed day and says what its owner meant it to say.
A document is read in an order. Deciding that order with you, and cutting what does not belong in it, is where the value of this work sits. The design then holds it together rather than making up for it.
Nothing goes into a document that you have not supplied and confirmed. We do not write claims on your behalf, and where a section has nothing behind it we say so instead of filling it.
The extent, the figure, the date and the rounds of revision are in a written quotation before anything is designed, and repeated in the order confirmation. Nothing is agreed on a call that is not written down afterwards.
The document is going to be emailed, opened on a laptop and scrolled on a phone. It is built for that, with navigation that works, rather than being a print layout that has been exported.
The company
Everything below is on the public register, and the link goes straight to the entry so you can read it there rather than here.
The register entry is at find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/17457190 .
The edges
We do not print and we do not post. Nothing in an order is physical, and there is no printing, packing or postage charge, because there is nothing to charge for. If you want the finished document printed later, the editable source is what a printer will ask for, and it goes with the order where the quotation includes it.
We do not write claims about your company that you have not made, and we do not check them for you either: what goes on the page is what you supplied and confirmed. We do not supply photography or stock images, we do not host or publish the document for you, and we do not name a customer or show their document as an example of our work without their written permission.
Everything that matters in an order is written down, so the quickest route to an answer is an email to communications@shinepages.tech or the form on the contact page.
Tell us what it has to do and who has to read it. The quotation that comes back names the extent, the figure, the date and the rounds of revision included.
Or write to communications@shinepages.tech and describe the document you have in mind. The form on the contact page writes the same email for you and opens it in your own email application, ready for you to read over and send.
